Re: Just for fun, what colour am I? :)
Lovely foal btw ! If you left it was a few more months we may be able to see the grey as sometimes the horse will actually go darker through the greying process.
Truthfully I don't see the Perlino but if silver is involved that may be why it looks like a cremello.
Re: Just for fun, what colour am I? :)
I'm thinking palomino as well. However I don't know how old he is or if his eyes are blue. If he's more than 10 days old and/or his eyes are blue then I say he's cremello. However if silver is present that could be fooling with us.
I HAVE seen silver buckskins look just like this as foals.
Re: Just for fun, what colour am I? :)
I am still not sure as I have had both a Palomino and a CHESTNUT with bright pink skin and blue eyes. The Chestnut took so long to turn I actually wondered if he was Champagne! Brightest pink set of testicles I have ever seen, and in both cases they took six weeks for their eyes to go grey (never did go brown)
Re: Just for fun, what colour am I? :)
How bizarre RF! I'da been wondering who jumped the fence lol :) I was thinking perlino as opposed to cremello using good ole logic. I figure with both parents being bay based it was more likely, not guaranteed of course but more likely for her to be perlino instead of cremello. I hadn't even thought pally though - hmmm I'm hanging out to get the results back now big time :)
Re: Just for fun, what colour am I? :)
Ok, well I completely forgot to take a pic of her eyes BUT I just got the test results back this morning. I'm still trying to get my head around this but I *think* she is Cremello carrying Silver, homozygous Agouti and negative for Grey and Sabino lol.
Please feel free to clarify if I have it wrong :)

*Waves*
The internet makes the horse world SO much smaller! I went to a horse and saddlery auction for a look see today (just interested in buying a few bargain things from the saddlery auction). I started to talk to this lady about her silver buckskin colt and she mentioned she had a silver cremello just recently tested. I asked if she'd posted on a horse forum recently and she mentioned Equine Color Info :-D
 It was Hey What The!
Hey What The, now you're mentioned the mare by name (Bubbles), I think she is a mare I've seen advertised (before you bought her perhaps?). Is she around 14-14.2ish hands high and did she come from Bundy way? Not that it matters, I just remember the advertisement of a silver buckskin and a silver bay being advertised.

*waves back* they were probably my ads lol - I was considering selling both my silver mares about 6 months ago but ended up keeping them, so glad I did now lol :)
It was so good to meet up (randomly I might ad) with like minded people, hopefully I'll see you around again :)
Re: Just for fun, what colour am I? :)
I think the color is ummm pretty...Can I haz?
Filly or colt? I don't see gray but gray would be very hard to see on such a light base. I'm going to go with palomino (I'm assuming neither parent is homozygous for black) but I'm not going to make a guess on either gray or silver.
