I don't know where to start

Found this horse named A Paris Proposal by Primitive Proposal x Louella Lucy Blue. Doesn't say the breed just that the horse is in the UK and they call it Overo. [img]http://www.sporthorse-data.com/horse/10510398/779/Horse_A_Paris_Proposa…]

I really only clearly see frame. Sabino is possible of course (probably even given the sock). I see nothing else unusual really.

To me this is ONE HUNDRED percent the CLASSIC frame pattern. This is what frame is supposed to look like IMO (with exception of the neck white actually crossing over as opposed to just being there, but still very common IME).

The 'cleaness' of it I don't often see in frames, so I wondered if splash was having a little effect there, around the flank sort of area. But then of course frame might be supposed to be like that and it's sabino that makes it the sketchy edges that it more often seems to be!

Your last sentence... that's what I think. I personally believe that frame, on it's own, is very clean edged and blocky for the most part.

See when I think of frame I think of this http://www.ichregistry.com/stud_book_im…" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; or this http://cloud.equinenow.com/250932_1/pth…" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I think this just goes to show my grasp of 'Paint horse' patterns is entirely out dated. I don't want to come off as a know it all or anything like that, it's just been my experience with working with paints, or in the halter color ring, I don't come across horses with patterns like this http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v293/…" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; or this http://www.freewebs.com/reddistonpark/m…" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

For me, I just look at those images and think how unrealistic they look to me. Granted I know they are realistic because they are on real life horses. But as an artist if I were to see that a horse painting, I would think to myself it was exaggerated some how. Understand what I'm saying? LOL

I see Frame + Sabino.
If it is in the UK you are ahead on points if they are not calling it Tobiano :rofl
Might be worth suggesting they get it tested, they may well know nothing about LWO?

Louella stud do know about OLWS and this horse is almost certainly frame like his dam & grandsire.

I used D Bar S Blue Bayou in his first season here and bred the first loud overo paint filly born in the UK.

She had less white than A Paris Proposal but the white's edges were clean as were Blue Bayou's markings.
Nothing too strange then, the frame comes through the paint line?
I haven't looked at the pedigree, but the Racey Remarque TB line has frame (I Was Framed, standing somewhere in/around/near UK/Ireland, imported from the US) is tested OLWS+, and he comes from that line.
