and this is by the same stallion , is he just black or ....smokey silver black ?

The top one I say just red and white (but could carry silver since it is not expressed on red alone, but I don't see silver bay) the 2nd looks like if could be silver black to me. Does he have white eyelashes??

this pic of his eyes was taken a couple of months ago , they are pale but Im not sure Id describe them as silver

I asked because I have bought minis that have been registered as chestnut by the breeders and have clearly been silver bays so I know that they must look similar as foals

Purple skin, light eyelashes, definitely silver (#2).

The first one, yes I've seen silver bays born looking very chestnut. Can't tell here.

I agree with ACC. The first is a toss up at this point for me, but the second looks silver black.

I would guess Chestnut for the first and def. Silver for the second, but whether or not there is Cream.....no, I think not.

second yes i would think silver black.

I can see why she reminds you of Rumba they are similar in type but the colour is much duller and flatter on my girl , theres another on there called Tantrum , he reminds me of foal no 2 when he was younger
