my lil man is 3mths old now, hes shedding really light cream with a darker face.
do you think he will stay a nice gold shade or go lighter?

I think he is just perfect!!
I had an Arab (not pure obviously!) that was this colour, he was by a 7/8ths Stallone we had who was "Akhal Teke" Palomino ( :rofl ) o/o my Red Bay pure bred mare, I called his colour "Silver Sand" Buckskin.
He was seasonal, darker in winter, lighter in Summer and, by the time he was six, he had lost his lovely light mane and tail and had an almost black one.
Although there was little or no chance of Silver, his color behaved like Silver Buckskin in Minis.....

My bet is that he will go lighter. This first shed is nearly always the darkest.
