Do you see dilute?? (Dam of Double Dilute??? foal)

IMO fairly obvious buckskin there, and the dorsal looks to be countersahding.

I wouldn't be surprised Fledges... that would certainly explain the countershading.

When I had her on here before......everybody said she looked "brown".

Question.....what makes some of you think buckskin right off? She has several other mares that are related and similar color to this mare (without as much countershading) so now we are thinking they may carry cream too? By looking at them, would we be able to know by eye color, muzzle, etc?

There's zero question she's cream. It's very visible on her. Unfortunately if you don't see the cream in this mare, I'm not sure how to tell you to look for it in the other mares. *shrugs*

Are these the same pics we saw when we said brown? There's no way we would have missed the cream if we saw these. :?

I have been told before, gold eyes can be indicator and she has other mares very similiar with wierd gold/hazel eyes but brown/bay bodies.

Yes, I think so and then from when she was a foal and yearling.

I don't know that I would have ever called her brown (and I would have never said she didn't have cream), but her DAM is DEFINITELY brown based and definitely cream (and maybe silver).

She looks buckskin in those pictures too, even more so. :? Either brown or bay buckskin, I have enough trouble with brown, without the cream, to distinguish here :lol: But in all of them she looks like she has obvious cream.

Looks a lot like my mare who is tested silver buckskin Ee Aa Zz (not tested for brown, nor dun (although her dam IS dun))
