From that much......liver chestnut or silver bay. Very reddish round the pasterns so almost certainly red base.....

I'm probably completely wrong but oh well.

Oh looked again and less keen on silver now, no stripes on the hooves that I can see.

Silver black... would be easier if the color wasn't in shadows...

LOL. That's what I was just thinking! Chestnut!

When will you let us stop suffering????

I've been thinking on this one and although chestnut would the the simplest answer I'm going to go with one of those funky black biased LPs.

Good answer, since in my mind LP seems to break all common rules and make up its own as it goes along. I don't mean that to offend Appy lovers, just that my little pea brain cannot comprehend the complexities of Appy and I have seen such contradictions in phenotype and the actual genetic make up, including one that was lab tested Black that looked positively orange. :BH

I have a couple sun bleached bays in the field that look like that without LP.

her tail looks pretty sun burnt , maybe she has been on more recently. Either that or she is dull wormy maybe.

I've seen stall kept blacks have bleached looking tail tips. I don't think it's exclusive to sun or health.
