Chestnut obviously but not your normal Ranga LOL.

I have to say, i've not seen a chestnut this shade... is there a specific name for this shade of red or not? (don't laugh... i'm use to normal red rangas!) He's a yearling Welsh mountain, just got him 2 days ago, needs more "groceries" but give him time. Sire is Palomino & dam is reg as Chestnut though not seen her to see if plain chestnut, like this colt or roan? (she is by the roan at end of page http://www.elargee.com/stallions.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)
For some reason that is a common color in Welsh. It's chestnut with sooty and flaxen.
Thanks - shame colours can't be simple LOL.
I look forward to the depth of colour once he gets some vit/mins in his system (previously just on hay), he was bathed after the body shot pic (taken once dry in the headshot pic) & his coat is much softer now.
Just can't wait to get the rest of the fluff out & with some good tucker, his coat will be great.
