Thanks :)

I was looking for parent pics...but only found the sire--tobi with something else(splash i think)...couldn't find the dam to see what she was

i found 2 not so good photos of the mare(partial) on their website...they only have foals and stallions listed...not broodies

Man - I KNOW that horse...lol. Troy Oakley is a friend of mine from when I lived down the road from him in Pinnacle, NC. (my daughter only lives a 1/2 mile or so from him now - lol). He used to help me with my first rescue mare - Kori Lynn.

Love - that horse and the first thing I thought was splash fighting with frame - would be nice to see what the dam had...cool....I also think that ther may be sabino in there too.

stumbled upon another while visiting a horse board.

The Masqued Male

his sire:

his dam HyVista Star (AQHA):

My first instinct is frame. The blotchy leg spot on the first horse and then a lot of leg white on only two legs on the sire would warrant testing just in case.

I don't mean to hijack this thread but thought it might fit nicely into this discussion: What causes the white lip-spot on this horse? My bet is splash (lip and leg) and sabino (star)...your thoughts?

too cute!

there was a PMU foal that someone on a forum I go to bought as a baby....she kept him intact and bred him a couple of times and then gelded him(he is registered...APHA i think)...but he has the cutest white lips...i'll have to see if I can find a pic of him...

i THINK he only sired two foals(full siblings)...both bays..one with a gorgeous blaze and some socks and the other with just a bitty star.

Totally OT, but my best friend's name is Kori Lynn haha

critterkeeper Tue, 09/15/2009 - 12:41

Kori Lynn was named after the daughter of a friend of mine, Pat (she was about 5 or 6 at the time - 1993?) so she would be in her early 20s now. They moved away so I don't know where she is living now - who knows, she may BE your friend :flower :love .
