Sabino, Splash, or Frame?

Frame is definitely possible with 3 whites and the odd/jaggedy edges to the white, and that belly white looks sabinoy to me (which would explain the intermitten white hairs in her coat)...would definitely test her for LWO to be sure.

Interesting. I just had a look at the White Patterns section of the site. My understanding is that one of the Morgan mares in my keeping, LSR Tanqueray Sterling, is minimal Sabino. (http://s225.photobucket.com/albums/dd77…" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) Tanq does have a couple 'odd' white markings on her body as well as some roaning which fits the description for Sabino. I have no idea regarding Splash or Frame but it is possible for a horse to carry all three? I was not familiar with the Splash or Frame patterns/terms until I read about them other than in reference to Paint/Pinto horses. It was also interesting to note that double Frame is Lethal White. SO much to learn... *smile*

There is still so much for us to learn about individual patterns but yes as far as our knowledge of what we believe to be Sabino in it's many forms and Splash, you can all 3 !

Yes, a horse can easily carry anything at all, basically.
How about a CrCr Pearl, H/ZSabino/H/Z Splash/Frame/H/ZTobiano/AppyFewSpot with Champagne, Roan......anyone???? :rofl

This is my rationale:
The reason we suspect Frame is the limitation of the leg white, Frame does that. Splash because the blaze says Splash + Sabino....Sabino puts the white on the bottom lip and Splash tries to break it up and pull it off to one side.
Then the leg markings, they are classic Sabino, to me, but could also be Splash in the way they are trying to "break up" on the leg.
If Frame were known not to be present, then the body markings could have been put there by Sabino, but since we don't know the LWO status, they could also have been put there by Frame.
The roaning throughout the body as mentioned but not seen (on my computer, anyway) is classic Sabino.

She doesn't have any roaning, it's more like bend or spots, just white dots, but not roaning, If I remeber correctly her dam had sabino markings just like most quarter horses with face and minor leg markings, nothing really fancy, the sire is different, I'm posting a few pics of him, the best I could get, but he looks a lot like my mare.
