I was checking out some sale foals and also so out the sire. He is listed as a dun roan. If I had to say what he is I would say he looks like a bay with sabino. What do yo'all think? http://www.coyoteridge.ca/quixote.htm

That was my first thought also, but I think he many actually be a strange classic roan. There are two foals of his that actually look classic roan but they are still in their foal coats.

Classic Roans can darken as they get older which may explain some of his coloration.

It looks like what I have heard referred to as 'frosted roan' - roaning concentrated along the topline.

I don't see proof of dun in the photos, but that is one funky way to express roan. I think it is an odd classic roan.

Didn't see any foals that look dunny either. But as for roan, certainly seems to be. All his foals have it including the half arab.
