Predict Satin's test results... ***RESULTS***

So I sent Satin's hair in Friday and the results should be in any time now. I figured it might be fun to take a stab at her results. I am having her tested for frame (LWO), agouti and seal brown. Dam: 'ee AA nO' Sire: 'ee _a nn' The sire's '_' could be either 'A' or 'At'. That information is not known yet (but it is not another 'a'). So the options are: * Frame/LWO: nn (negative) * Frame/LWO: nO (frame carrier) * Agouti: Aa (heterozygous, red bay) * Agouti: AA (homozygous, red bay) * Agouti: AAt (homozygous, red bay and seal brown) The only white I can find on her (and believe me, I've hunted) is: [IMG]http://a8.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/196460_10150132047254394…] And yes, that lower lip is all white save for a little splotch of dark right in the middle. I am going yes on frame based on the top heavy, off to one side blaze with no leg markings. I think Aa so that you a shot at that grullo that you wanted out of Lace.

FWIW I don't think it's going to be a "blaze" for long. There's WAAAAY more white hair than pink skin and each section is "broken" (the star is not connected to the strip and the strip is not connected to the snip). It's going to change shape dramatically when she sheds I suspect.

I agree with MP, nO for lack of leg markings and probably Aa, I can't believe she didn't even get an anklet. She sure is a cutey pie.

I'll be able to tell more about her leg white sometime when I wet her down. She *might* have an anklet somewhere. I'm also not 100% certain she doesn't have a belly spot or anything as she's SOOOOOO fuzzy and so pale. I really doubt it, but you never know.

However... how many non frame breeds get blazes without leg white?

I'm going O/n, AAt - just to be different...as you are learning, those pesky creams tend to lose/gain white at will... :bounce Little Storm has definitely got white "booties" (too short for "real" boots) on the rear and at least one "anklet" on the front...and changes color shades with each sunrise it seems... :BH
