I think it must be Sabino, but I do not think it is ticking, more like the splashing we had on a stallion, maybe related to the unattached white you sometimes get with Sabino??

Love both the Shire and Belgian's sabino spotting and yes I think there is splash there too, maybe they are fighting which causes it.

Very cool!! The cobs get those weird splotchy markings sometimes too, but more often it's up the girth or barrel instead of the backleg/rump like that shire looking one! This is one I took a picture off that has some similarities.

The orignal pic is so cool, I love how the dark color on that leg go's further down but that whole leg is decorated with spots all the way up, very cool 8-) .
