Interesting combination

A friend on another forum posted the results of an interesting combination and gave me permission to post here. This is the dam (as a foal, just to show markings). Only white marking is a small snip. Looks like a splash and frame foal - very cute too ! i suspect the sire carries the frame and the dam must have minimal splash.

For some reason I'm not necessarily getting a frame vibe. I'm feeling homozygous splash... and this foal is one of the reasons it's believed to be an incomplete dominant.

That's a very cool splash foal!! I'm never too sure about the homozygous splash theory but this one certainly supports it!

Yes, I would go with Splash too, but I would most certainly test that stallion and mare before breeding them together again!!
