A purebred andalusian colt at our ranch. Both parents are grey. Not sure of their base color. They came grey and haven't been tested.
About a month ago. Note the spot on his shoulder. Sorry the sun makes it hard to see. It was a very apparent spot.

^ I've never personally seen any roans. The normal base colors, bay, pearl and creams plus a chance of champagne.

Very. Another somatic IMO (I would have say "bloody shoulder" except that clearly it's graying too). They sure seem to be becoming more common.
Are his pasterns shed out yet? That's an odd color there.
