DW Tests

Hey I was looking on the Animal Genetics UK site, they have a test for DW. It lists that W5 and W10 are the ones tested. I wonder if they are most common ones appearing for them over there or something? It's on the submission form.

Very cool to see commercial tests available.

Do you think they have permission to use that photo of Cougarand San Bar?

The link on Cougar's pic is broken...the "click here" thingy doesn't work...., but cool

They do our (BMHS) testing but they seemed quite expensive, what do they charge for colour testing?

17.50 pounds per test, that's what I went to look at actually. For a few tests it's probably more worth it to send to the US, even if the horse is in the UK.

And for us US people it's worth it to send there because we don't have a DW test here.

Well yes, LOL! I can't think of any of mine I want to DW test though, so the US will do!

2 of those 3 are tested and KNOWN to be DW for a fact. The third is pretty much no question DW, they just haven't located his mutation yet. I honestly don't know about the 4th... he's always been interesting to me.
