DW or Splash in Arabians?

So where ever I search there is this debate that goes in circles about Splash being in pure bred Arabians, or if it's just a form of sabino. And in every forum I've pulled, no one has mentioned Dominate White being the case. Some of the arabians who's photos I've pulled show, what I interpret to be, characteristic DW white patterns. Seeing as the Arabian was the foundation for many breeds that now have one form of DW or another, why not the Arabian as well? This debate will never be settled until there is a test for it, but what do you guys feel is in the Arabian?

I thought it had been documented and tested as being in them? Wasn't Khasper doc'd as one? If not, I'm sure that I agree it is....walks like a duck, talks like a duck...... let me run through all the DW study links ACC posted. I thought it was the case....

Yes, the R Khasper line was in the original dominant white study. As for splash, as it's a pattern which is identified based on visual characteristics, there are Arabians which exhibit that pattern; Shatormar, Khartoon Khlassic, Apacheblu, etc.

Yes, Khasper is a proven DW.

There are some lines who are CLEARLY DW and some lines who really, really looks splash. IMO if they show blue eyes they are splash as we have yet to see a DW only show blue eyes.

Khartoon Khlassic's line may be DW, but they definitely has splash too IMO. Obviously Moonlight Money Maker is splash.
