Ok, question..
I know the theory is that cream and pearl are on the same locus. So no prl/prl and cream together. And they'll only pass one or the other. Now... if a horse is Cr/Prl, does this make them like a double dilute in the sense that they will always pass at least one on? Like, the foal is guaranteed to have cream or pearl?
For instance, I posted our dunskin pearl filly the other day. If we breed her to a non cream/pearl is the foal guaranteed to be either a pearl carrier or cream? I hope this makes sense... lol
