Cool stage of gray

If I can find pictures I will post but have seen a few Lipis like this pure white but with a dark mane and tail, they are in thier twenties, Mateo actually still has a lot of dark in his mane and tail at 15.....it is stunning also in the same way I love the dark dappled steel grey look with white mane and tail - probably why I like Black Silvers so much.

TBs do that quite a lot, but it is eye catching when it happens.
My Welsh/Arab/TB mare did it, when she was four, but her body was sky blue (I kid you not!!) not white.
By the time she had gone white, which was not until her teens, her mane and tail had faded, too.
Her dam did the same and one of her daughters was the weirdest colour grey I have ever seen. She is in her twenties now, and is pure white, but she looked Roan/Grey for ages (NO Roan anywhere) now, she retained colour on the body and lost it on the mane and tail.

We are actually trying to find someone to make us one like... as I type this. xD

I had a falling out with my old partner who trained the percherons with me and I am strictly into the friesians and andalusians now so Crystal and I have just recently started getting things together. Our old website was just... a complete mess. lol

The co-owner of the andalusians DOES have a website, though it is old and outdated. mariosandalusians.com

I was dying to see more! You should do one for sure. Simple and nothing tacky.

lol. I was thinking the same thing. Started reading this thread, and wondering where to eye up the Friesians. Too bad about the Percheron friend. They are a awesome breed and a joy to own. I think we've all been there with a person or two in our lives. Hope to see a site soon!

Speaking on grey's.. GG Samir would have been excellent for this. My favorite photo of him is one of him with the dark background. Head and chest shot. White body and head. Black black mane and forelock.

don't need to...Bubba's tail drags abour 4 inches behind him, and I'm constantly having to "unweave" his forelock from his eyelashes...we don't have anyone whose tail isn't down past the hocks, and the shortest mane in the place belongs to our standy gelding. Everyone else's is from mid-neck to shoulder/chest.
