Forums will still be available to view but new posts are no longer allowed.

No longer showing ads for site admins

I got to thinking about this decided that you ladies do enough for the site that you shouldn't be bothered by ads. You may continue to see a few up to 24 hrs after I've posted this but if you see any after that please let me know.

Well so much for this idea. The feature that is supposed to turn off blocks (the things where the ads are) for certain users doesn't appear to be working correctly. So ads atm aren't showing for anyone.

I'm going to have to turn it back on for the time being until I can figure out what is wrong.

Sorry, I will get this fixed ASAP.

Ok, I found out the problem was all permissions for authenticated users are inherited by users with higher permissions (ie admins) so anything authenticated users see admins see. For the moment I have enable ads for non-registered users only. I've been thinking about doing this anyway just to see how it goes so we'll see.
