Board errors for new users

I received an email this morning from new member who had been able to post 3 times and then started getting a fatal error. I did a bit of digging and the problem was being caused by the 3 posts need approval thing. Evidently since the update they haven't been needing moderator approval but after the 3 posts the board crashes on them. I disabled that feature on the board and the error went away. I've submitted a support request at phpbb but it may be a while for a fix.
