blue roan, blue roan sabino or what?

Well I bought her 2 yrs ago out of what was supposed to be a herd of paints. I got Vala the girl in question who I thought was a black and white paint and a little bay fully. It was winter when I got them but come spring ms Vala wasn't black anymore she had roamed out..The more research I did the more ? About what her color is I had. She has a white patch on her belly, on each side of her neck and under her jaw/ chin

The last picture was early spring she had just started shedding her winter coat

I don't know anything about her parents. I don't think she is grey she gets dark in the winter again. Right now she is Sun faded and looks funny I will have to get pictures of her currently.

What's LWO and why would I need to test for it?

No matter what she is I love her and think she is unique and beautiful and eye catching.

LWO is lethal white overo, breed two horses with that gene and if they both pass it you will have a white foal that dies or has to be PTS.

I know this post is over a year old, but I just had to comment. I have a mare who is the exact same color! I know it's not grey, because she's nine years old and hasn't changed a bit. Here's some photos. Been wondering what her color is for years! I've never seen another horse with her color until now.
