Beware of scammers!

I just busted these people... lol Saw this thread on FHOTD this morning: http://fhotd64476.yuku.com/topic/32888?page=1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; A $2000 friesian with those stats? I used my resources and found out it was a scam. My first red flag was that they were trying to say he was foaled in 2000 and his registered name was Teade. Well, FHANA and the FPS have assigned letters for every year. 2000's letters were A and B. I did some searching and found the real sellers here: http://www.equine.com/horses-for-sale/horse-ad-891137.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; So I replied on FHOTD on page 3. http://fhotd64476.yuku.com/topic/32888?page=3" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; People are such idiots. lol Its hard to believe that there are morons out there that DO fall for scams like this!

:laugh1 I am not about to drop 2 grand for a Fries! But I would consider the 200 dollar one later in that thread. ;) (as pasture ornament) How on earth did you find the original seller that quickly?
I am sure I shouldn't feel that way, but people who fall for this are almost at fault. :? If you were to buy a car from me, let's say a 1 year old Ford F150, and I charged you only $1,500. the law would come after you once it turned out that the car was stolen. You should have assumed that it was not a legit deal due to the price.
Why would that not apply to horses? :o Heard on the news today that Texas and Oklahoma have a dramatic increase (300%) of cattle rustling incidents. Even if the horse was not stolen in this case, the pic/info sure was, and the price is hardly 'right'. So yes. Beware for sure. Not only online.

I googled "Teade" and "gelding" after I figured they were a fake due to the name discrepancy.
