Great pics and it looks like you had a great time. Question though, why have you pulled Cory's mane much much shorter than the forelock - to me it looks kinda weird but then I like au natural ! ;)

accphotography Wed, 05/26/2010 - 12:27

FWIW, I don't believe in pulling forelocks. Besides, his forelock is party of his charm.

Sara Wed, 05/26/2010 - 13:00

Forelocks are only pulled in England. In the US we let them grow. I would never touch Cory's forelock!! His mane needs to go shorter still in order to get it into braids later this summer but I ran out of time for this show.

rabbitsfizz Wed, 05/26/2010 - 13:06

This is me not making any comment!

*Oh fudge it.
We neverpull anything at all on a Section A in the UK. Not forelocks not manes and definitely NOT feathers!!*

:rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl

Oooops... I guess one more thing that slipped by Daylene to add back when she did the update (I bet that's where some of our smilies went too, like sabino scapegoat).

rabbitsfizz Wed, 05/26/2010 - 15:13

YOU started it!! :rofl
You said forelocks were only pulled in the UK.
WE do not pull forelocks on Section A's!!!
EVER.

Jenks Wed, 05/26/2010 - 15:22

I wonder if she realizes it actually posted! :bounce

The frog's bouncing again! (or the green ball?)

Daylene must be working! :bounce

accphotography Wed, 05/26/2010 - 15:23

It's not bouncing for me. *pouts in the corner*

accphotography Wed, 05/26/2010 - 15:39

lipigirl Wed, 05/26/2010 - 16:04

Come on guys it is funny i know, but kids do frequent this site, please be careful.

lipigirl Wed, 05/26/2010 - 16:11

Heather Wed, 05/26/2010 - 16:24

Thought the UK was known for class and manners, guess not.

Andrea Wed, 05/26/2010 - 16:29

I never really understood the whole problem cussing thing.
I tell my kids not to say s hit. Instead I tell them to say shoot. Well...Isn't intent 99% of the word?

Sorry. Just got into this discussion with hubby when Patrick used the word Freakin. He said it was too close to the other word. From there it went to is Frackin OK (Battlestar Galactica) or is Flubber OK?

To me, it doesn't matter... If the intent behind the word is the same then what does the word itself matter?

And drats! I didn't get to see the pictures! Please repost or pm me! I wanna see!
How did Cory do and the whole 9 yards!

Britain is not as stuffy as everyone thinks it is, but I don't like the swearing either, and no-one has cussed on here from UK have they...did I miss it ?

Jenks Wed, 05/26/2010 - 19:09

All right, well I edited it. I know Sara's students used to peruse the forums here so...

I thought it was all light-hearted, but since she removed the pics, I'm guessing she's done.

accphotography Wed, 05/26/2010 - 19:57

Yeah I suspect so Jenks. I doubt we'll see her for a few months (if ever). :sad

She made a comment and it insulted Sara that wanted to share her excitment about Cory's show, im am extremely dissapointed, it was in poor taste ... always making a point of putting "americans" down... I will seek out the pics on facebook where it isnt so hostile...the endless belittling of "USA" just gets old... I know not all UK is stuffy, I have lots of friends over there in the JRT world ;)

lillith Thu, 05/27/2010 - 02:08

Am I too late and all the comments have been altered? What happened? I was going to comment on the pretty ponies. I didn't see anything particularly insulting, just a little ribbing about pulling welsh forelocks which it seems none of us do?

I asked about the forelock because i was interested, I like the fact we have cultural differences and I like learning our differences, it was never meant to upset anyone, am sorry i asked. :sad

Heather Thu, 05/27/2010 - 06:37

I found nothing offensive of your post(lipi) it was an honest question of curiosity..the one that was ofensive was * this is me making no comment* ..why say that at all, it basicaly leaving the imagination open to all sorts of agressive insulting comments... sorta like * use your imagination, i hate your pony.

Daylene Alford Thu, 05/27/2010 - 06:55

I don't think we really need to keep bringing this post back to the top.

My apologies to everyone involved. The language filter has a new list of words added.
