I made my friend a jewelry roll for christmas! Just finished it, haha. It's all the same, though, we havent had a chance to exchange gifts. Anyway, she has been traveling all over the country lately on job interviews and her pretty necklaces keep getting destroyed. She has a jewelry box but her long necklaces still get tangled. So I made her a jewelry roll! I'm really happy with it, it's pretty and paisley! Mom says it looks like Vera Bradley threw up on it haha! Most of the buttons are just for pretty, the pouches are secured with velcro, for rings and earrings and that sort of thing. And it can be hung on a door hook or whatever, too! Do you have a pattern/directions for this? I want something like that for my jewelry. It is currently living in a jumble in a box and annoying the heck out of me.

I don't have a pattern, I played it by ear. I sewed the velcro to a piece of fabric, and then I sewed batting (which may have been leg wrap haha) onto one of the pieces of fabric and then swear the two together, pretty side to pretty side and turned it inside out. Then I sewed two ribbons together and used that as a hem, which we sewed on. Then I did buttons and junk. Lots of guess work haha. If I make another ill take progress shots. Maybe mom will start making some for etsy! I would but its her sewing machine.

OOOOHHH that reminds me, I have to get that envelope and info in the mail to you for Abby's tag...what can I say, it was Christmas, then New Years/granddaughter's birthday, our anniversary and tomorrow is another granddaughter's birthday...my oldest son's birthday is later in the month...it has been a busy 2 wks...

I am WAY behind on tags, haha. I actually sold the one I had on Etsy, but I didnt get to make it because of the holidays. I couldn't access the internet much, and I left some of my materials at school. I have like 4 paid orders to do and then a bunch of freebies I've promised out for christmas presents, etc. I think 15 in total... maybe 12 now actually.
