6 1/2 wks to go

I havent been on the computer much for the last month as things have been a bit crazy and internet on the blitz but I am starting to count down my wks now for baby No. 4. Baby is coming out via c-section on Sept. 17th so wont feel it creeping up on me now that we are in August. Cant wait in some ways and other ways I wish I had longer

I remember missing the movement! I think a C section is the way to go! Have you done it any other way?

I want a csection baby haha! I was a csection, my little brother was a vbac, and from everything I've heard, natural is....not fun.... Plus, I was all beautiful with my pretty round csection baby head, haha!

I had a natural first birth but I was a public patient with a junior doctor and I ended up in an awful state with a 3rd degree tear. So I went private for Grace but as I had surgery on my back a few months before the Dr. felt I should have a section if the baby was going to be over 8lbs so its been section all the way. \

To be honest I would prefer a natural birth as once the baby is delivered you are still able to move around and drive etc.
C-section is very painful afterwards and you cant do a whole lot as its major abdominal surgery and no driving for 6wks so a real pain in the a**

I had the exact opposite experience! I was perfectly fine after the c-section with no pain and no woozy drugs, only the epidural. With the natural? I sat in a tub of ice crying for weeks!

Here's to a perfect delivery for you! :toast

Ditto Jenks... I was up and around less then 12 hours after the surgery. Plus my Dr. said only 2 weeks of no driving.
But I understand everyone is different and some have had horrible recoveries. I'm sorry you won't get your preference but wishing you a safe delivery!

Here its 6wks and if you do drive and have an accident you are not covered by you insurance. Its basically part of the law here.

Was at my doc yesterday and baby had legs firmly crossed and tucked up under it so couldnt tell the sex.
Reckons it will be mid to late 7's in weight.
