He has been to a baby hunter show (two firsts and two seconds in his walk/trot and 1' classes) and is easily schooling 2'6" - 2'9" at home with very good form. Texas will safely walk around the arena with a beginner but a more experienced child will be able to get him to do just about anything. He jumps and hacks outside in a simple snaffle and has never bucked or taken off, even when fresh. Texas would make a fantastic pony hunter or could be trained as a pony jumper or eventer. I'd also love to see him go to a pony club home. Located near Portland, Oregon.
