Hi... I just would like to announce you a very bad new... My horse is dead yesterday. He had a very very very bad "coup de sang" (MYOGLOBINURIA) and we couldn't do anything to save him I'm so sad.... I lost my bestfriend and who could know what would happen... I'm so shocking, it happen so fast. When the first signs happens, I immediatly called the vet, but the treatment he gave him doesn't relieve him. We could bring him to the Horse Clinic, but he could not walk as his hint legs was "dead". He was lying on his boxe and couldn't get up... It was so horrible... At the clinic, they tried all their best to fix him but yesterday morning at 10 o'clock he couldn't always get up and was suffering a lot. That is why I have to go to the Horse Clinic to give my authorization for the euthanasia. He died yesterday at 3.30 pm in my arms... it's so an injustice.... but i know... it's the life and I should go ahed....

OMG - How horrible for you to lose a loving member of your family in such a terrible way. He was such a beautiful animal and I know you loved him very much... :( I send my deepest sympathy and cyber hugs - :ymhug:

Fortunately, he left two foals behind him. Like that, he continues to live little in them.

I bought him fast exactly 4 years ago when he was not 2 years old. My god... It's hard but it's life and we should go ahead.

I must remember that he was a "fighter" and I have to be as strong as he was.

On saturday, I'm going by his breeder because he has a "3/4" brother of Yellow for sale. I would like to continue with the same bloodlines in his honour...

I have only just read your terrible news - I am SO sorry for your loss he was a truely beautiful boy. I saw your other thread and I hope the relative of him works out for you as a new horse.
