Most of them don't have names
Most of them don't have names - barn names but not named on papers.
The first one is Chill - she is out of PrideandPrejudice by Arctic Celio. This is the frist foal that we have had out of this mare, but we do know that this mare has had at least one other foal (a palomino colt)
The Bay - This colt is named Irish Arctic Chrome. Irish in the barn. He is out of Miss Biggy by Arctic Celio.
The next colt - Tundra - is out of the mare Saton and Lace and by Arctic Celio.
The last colt is Topper - he is out of our palomino mare named C C R HYLIGHTER any by Arctic Celio.
Now while we are talking about DW - we have sent in hair for DNA testing - this is what we got back - "I've been working on your samples for dominant white testing on the several horse samples you submitted recently. So I set up tests for the additional known Thoroughbred dominant whites; W2, W6 and W7 and all the horses tested negative for those. I will possibly try sequencing the gene where all the know dominant white gene mutations are found and see if I can find any new mutations in your horses that could possibly be a dominant white mutation. However, this requires a lot of work and I can't guarantee that I will find the underlying cause of the white pattern so I don't have a time frame as to when or if I will have something." :)
