Yellow or "tiger" eyes

Hi everyone. I have a mystery that I was hoping you could solve for me: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Blood-bay-paso-fino-horse.jpg http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Puerto-Rican_Paso-dark-bay-yello… "Tiger, Goat or yellow eyes on a Puerto Rican Paso Fino Horse" Have any of you seen this before on a dark horse? I thought light "amber" eyes were only associated with dilution genes.

It's not known what causes yellow eyes. Someone correct me if I wrong but I don't think they are inheritable so they are probably caused by something that happens in the womb. They happen in other breeds as well. I've seen them in QH's and there was a pic of a warmblood that had yellow eyes that was posted here some time ago.
