Wow, this one was a shocker!

Daddy can be seen here http://www.apleasuresensation.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; but has nowhere close to this kind of white and mama is somewhat in the pix but is solid sorrel with the blaze and some white feet. I know this probably happens all the time but not to us LOL!! :flower
Definitely one of frame's quirks. It can go from 0% white to 100% white in one generation and vice versa.
I thought frame kept the white off the bellies and legs most of the time? Is that outdated information?

IMO it is. I personally believe that frame can put white on the whole body. However I do believe that in some cases it pushes leg white off and does keep a frame around the body (topline and underline).

However, when you add splash into the mix (which you definitely have, in both parents), you could have had a 100% white easily. Splash adds belly white and leg white (and more head white than would normally be seen with frame, and sometimes more over the back white)... so that may be what you're seeing.

Long story short, I wouldn't have been the least bit surprised with that result (although I wouldn't have been surprised by a totally solid either).

Ok that is what I thought we might be seeing but I'm sometimes still amazed that the little expression of splash in the dam is enough to help do THIS.

Do you know where updated info on frame can be found?

Here ;)

I am actually serious, most of the concepts they discuss here seem to be far more current than any published material.

That is because we are a forward thinking lot that just happens to have members willing to do the observations, research and studies necessary to form a cohesive and coherent working theory :love :angel .
