I started a Horse Color Group on Facebook the other day, & the lady who owns her is on it.
She has been tested 4 times to see if she is a chimera, they got one abnormal result, but couldn't replicate it, so concluded she was not.

The fact that she tested not chimeric strangely doesn't surprise me. I still have yet to see an example of a proven chimera have their white patterns altered because of chimerism.

She could be an example of somatic mutation with areas that are all genetically belonging to the same animal but the LP gene got switched off in certain patches. If she doesn't end up varnishing in those areas it could be a case for that. Kind of like the grays that have patches that don't gray, only this is with leopard complex.

Either that or a really skewed PATN with lots of mismarks.

That's Uniquely Destined (Uni). That's all appy going on with her, nothing other than mismarks.
