Wondering what colour foal I will get??

Hi everyone :) Hoping someone may be able to give me some indication on what I may get? Have bred my chestnut sabino rabbacino arabian mare with a medicine hat paint homozygous stallion this year wondering if someone could please give me an indication on what colour the resulting foal may be ?

Base colour of the sire is needed as well as the base for the dam. "Medicine hat" is a pattern description, not a colour description. Also, what exactly is the stallion homozygous for, a pattern, a colour gene?

Pictures would honestly be the best bet since we do not even know the sires base color, or patterns for that matter as "medicine hat" is extremely vague genetically speaking.
I'd like to see pictures of your mare to see if she looks dominant white opposed to sabino, but that is really just a name game there. Also, has the sire been tested for frame overo? If not, you really need to have the foal tested if it is going to be a breeding animal.
photobucket is a pretty good picture hosting site that is free and it is easy to link pictures on here

To add files directly to the site you can click on the "Choose File" button at the bottom of the page. I've uploaded an image that should show you where the button is located. After you've selected this button a loading bar will appear. Javascript must be enabled for this feature to work (in most browsers it is enabled by default). After the file has uploaded you can add more if needed. The files will be re-sized if they are large, and the larger the file the longer it will take to upload.

You can also upload files to a hosting site like photobucket and use to display the photos on the site.

I hope this helps if you need more detailed instructions just ask.

"Medicine hat" just means a horse with a lot of white on it. That doesn't tell us if he is bay, black, chestnut, buckskin, dun, etc or what white patterns he has. What is he homozygous for? Pictures of him and his pedigree would help a lot.
