I have another mare due to the lovely silver boy, she's plain brown & her sire is Silver (brown).
Re: Will she stay black?
Yup, black. She looks TREMENDOUSLY like a filly that was born last night. Same markings. That filly's dam was black silver and sire black. LOL! She's black as well. How odd!
Thanks accphotography, replied to you on the other forum. :bounce
Re: Will she stay black?
Yes, she is Black...I would lay money no Silver, it tends to express in Minis, not hide as it does in some breeds. Pretty filly, I quite like the sires breeding. In Ireland, if I remember rightly??
You are a sucker for punishment starting so early, I am happy to have my foals born in March/April, and it's cold enough for me, foaling them out, then!!!

Hi.
I'm in Australia so i guess in a way you could even consider my gal a late foal, lol as our breeding season is August onwards. Many stop breeding in Dec but some mare's just don't play the game, lol... but it's rather common having Jan, Feb, March, April babies here etc, lol. :D
Re: Will she stay black?
Ah, that explains it!!! Yes, you are late, then :rofl
Lol i still got 2 more mares left to foal, the other mini is 322 days today.
The other mare an Australian Pony is either over due, or due late Feb.
I don't really consider them late as it all depends when we can cover them, if they play the game & fall on the first cover etc.
Some studs over my way haven't even started breeding yet.
Re: Will she stay black?
What an adorable little tobi filly...she will be black, but as to the silver, I cannot even begin to guess (thank heaven's for testing - lol). I do know that some other white pattern is going on - I vote splash, even though the high whites aren't even - as she has face white (what a cute little star - looks like a shooting star).
