White spots appearing on ears...

Are they truly color or is there a possible skin issue there?

They're truly color. She hasn't had any injuries and I've scratched on them and rubbed the hair the wrong way and all is normal.

Oh...and if it matters...the black skin around her lady parts has small white dots on it also...and her udder is black and pink. I have pics of these (from when she was preggo) if they'd help.

Birdcatchers? This is the mustang mare right, I guess it could be the same thing that made the white hairs on the colt.

Yup she's a mustang. I took pics today. I also discovered that she has 2 spots I never noticed before that are a different shade of sorrel than the rest, and they have no white hairs in them. They're tan colored. I got pics earlier but don't have time to get 'em up right now, gotta go pick up dinner. Pics later.

Ok here's the pics. So I lied about her ears lol, they do have a tiny bit of white hairs on them, but they didn't last summer, and what is there now isn't enough to make a visible difference unless you're looking at them up close.

Her heaviest roaning, on her poll. I just find it really odd, because all of the other places where her color meets white doesn't blend like this...it's clearly cut with thick halos (i.e. bottom pic..).

Could be sabino could be birdcatchers, my Chestnut mare has some chestnut sabino roaning and again it's around the ears that is most noticeable.

Ok I noticed something new and odd about her lol...I was brushing her tail the other day and just out of curiosity I lifted it and looked at the underside of her tailbone...is this normal coloration? It's awful splotchy and weird compared to other areas of dark skin on her.

Looks like totally normal chestnut skin.
