Which Gene(s) Are At Work Here?

I am completely lost as to what genes may be causing the white on 'Grumpy Bitch' aka 'Misty'. I have had her tested for overo - neg result. As you can see she has the big white blaze which raps right around her nostrils and upper lip, no white on her lower lip whatsoever a small sock on her near hind and 6 tiny white dots on her left side up near her wither. Please explain lol. She is of unknown breeding.

That's the bit that really threw me, I thought she would have to have white on it for her to carry sabino. Is it her bottom heavy blaze that makes you think Splash also?

Nope. Sabino is any white marking not caused by tobiano, frame, splash or dominant white. Thus a simple star with no other white could easily be sabino.

The bottom heaviness is a big clue of splash, but the biggest clue to me is the classic (minimal splash was once defined by this nearly entirely) "falling off one side of the face" movement.

She was unhandled when we got her and the spots were already there so definitely not from an ill fitting saddle lol. Those ones have me completely stumped as to how they have come about :)
