These pics are from one of my friends on Face Book and I was wondering what this type of marking would be called and what genes would be coming into play to create this look.

It's almost a reverse blaze on the one side.... I would guess splash but the socks look sabino-ey. So....wait for ACC or RMT - they have seen a lot more of this.

Splash for certain. Why it does that sometimes, I have no idea. I'd expect it on a tobiano, but I've seen it TONS on non tobianos. Maybe some type of suppression gene.

Wow those are some cool pics. I especially like the Appy one. Ya I had asked Diane on Face Book message and she had said splash gene as well and with the foal having blue eyes that was my thought but I had also seen the jagged edges on the socks and thought sabino as well. Something else that Diane had mentioned was if she would count as a badger face.
