I have a leopard (Ee aa no frame):

Also have a sooty silver buckskin (Ee Aa Crn Zn):
[img]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v295/…]
And since she loves to change colors often, her photo album is: http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v295/…" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Also have a lot of sabino in my herd, as do a lot of people ;) I have a TB who just has the four stockings and blaze, then several pinto minis with it plus other patterns. I also have a photo of sabino mottling:[img]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v295/…]
[img]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v295/…]
and Roaning: [img]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v295/…]

Also have a lot of silvers, but they're all minis :)

But you can take a look at all my horses http://www.CheyAutRanch.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and see if there's any you'd like to use.

I was able to get some photos of pearls! http://www.equine-color.info/gallery2/m…" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I came across them on the internet and just shot them an email to see if I could use some of their photos. They have been extremely nice! http://sommerranch.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I was also wondering if Gander would be interested in trying to get photos of some of their pearls....

Again, I'd hazard not a true leopard...look at the neck, you can see hints of colour.

I just checked thru' my photos, and I have absolute ZERO of our leopard without Bubba being "in the way"...I'll have to ask around to see if I can find one we can use.
Are they (the false leopards) born with the body spots or do they develop as the roaning develops?
Depends on how you want to look at it...most of the false leopards I've seen start out as blankets with spots, then they roan out, "developing" the spots as the roaning "removes" base coat colour. But I would imagine that the spots are already there...I know with my first mare, dark bay/brown base coat, you could only see her spots (black) in her winter coat as that was a couple of shades lighter than her summer coat. Summer coat she looked like an extremely dark liver chestnut (in fact, I thought she was liver chestnut when I bought her, until that first winter. LOL). Mare, however, never roaned, that I know of, anyhoo.

I was just looking at her fewspot stallion, but none of the photos really show him well enough to tell he's a true fewspot (he looks like he may have roaned out around his ears). She also has a leopard mare, but I think she may have roaned out around her upper neck. :BH That mare does have a foal that appears completely leopard though.

Anything you find on that site that might be helpful I can probably get permission for us to use.

Under stallions, Blue Eagle would qualify as a fewspot...fewspots can have smudging in the "pit" areas, knees, hocks, for some reason. Under for sale, that Beau colt is absolutely darling! Great example of large snowcap with lightening/flash marks.

I keep going back and forth on Lane Bar...in some photos she's definitely a true leopard, in others...I'm not so sure. Any chance of a conformation-type shot of her, more up close and personal, without foal?
