What type of spotty is this?

This mare belongs to a friend and she is curious about the white spots which are appearing all over her body as well as black spots on her rump...thanks in advance. Thanks girls! When we bought her she was black with about 6 white spots on her rump ,is this pattern something that progresses with maturity! She only started to develop more spots as a 5 yr old!

Oh yes, especially obvious as she has no proper white blanket, so I think she will go fast.
Hopefully she will not stay that 'orrible "grizzled" colour but will go Near Leopard........I am hoping D.C will not stay long in the land of the Grizzles! :flower

Ummh I think that horrible grizzled look is like a marble effect! It will be interesting to see how it progresses ,I will keep you all posted!

I think marbled is a different thing altogether, it does not go through the grizzled effect, it goes straight to sort of splotches, then goes marbled.
