What patterns?

Just thought I would make Chilli her own thread to get everyone's ideas on what patterns she has. A few of you saw her pictures in the "pleased to meet you" and "what color is my foal" sections and said tobiano and frame, which I agree with, but I am not sure if she is roan or sabino along with it. Hard to see in the pictures, but she has white hairs everywhere in her color except on her ears. Oddly enough on her right ear there is a small white dot up near the tip. Could be a scar but it was like that when I bought her so I don't know. Both eyes are dark brown. I joined so that yall could dash my hopes to the ground (then raise them, then dash them, then stomp on them, then bring them back to life, then abandon them in a ditch somewhere) and tell me Jazz is grey, lol!

lol Krickette!

I joined because someone had brought me such a pretty dark bay mare to start and I wanted to buy her because I loved her so... and I was curious what colors I could get if I bred her to the cremello stallion whose name I have forgotten at the moment (Cisco's sire) and I was SO confused about what smoky black was!

The mare was Isabelle.

Oh wow! And you never even bred her to GG or any cremello did you?

I came because I was told Lacy was a red dun and I wanted to know what color she was going to shed out too. Then the more I looked for photos of red duns the more I wondered what she really was. The more I looked for others marked like her, the more I wondered what patterns she might have and be able to produce. It just kinda started as one little question that rolled into a big ball of interest. I didn't know I would become such a genetics freak. Although I do remember being fascinated by non horse related genetics when I was quite a bit younger, but never to this extent.

I came because I got a mud colored filly that turned out to be a sooty buckskin. I was also mad at my (extremely dated) horse book for making no sense in regard to how to breed blue roans.

No. I was unable to buy her and she was shipped to Colorado to be a jumper. By the time I got her back here I had Rosalynn and bred her to a cremello (GG) instead.

I for two reasons. First, I had just been given an appaloosa and had no clue as to what to call him (now I know that he is a bay varnished roan snow cap splashed white :rofl ). Second, I was taking a course on animal genetics and the lecture on horse colors made no sense at all to me. My very first post was after I had been lurking for awhile and I wanted to know what my fjords were.

I was sitting in a boilogy class doing red/white eye fruit flys and punnett (spl?) Squares and got bored and tried to list every colour of horse I knew, then wondered why, then googled, then ended up here.

I first joined because my Dad and I enjoyed horses he usually bred one or two every couple of years. I had read Sponenberg's book (back in 1995) and wanted to learn more. I found the original site and joined. I joined in right about the time Lewela (sp?) quit posting but mostly lurked.

lol I know, always hated the word lurking! I just read a lot, but don't often have much to add. I don't like to post just to post ;)
