What pattern is this pinto?
where did that come from???
I would assume from the same place that said tobianos don't have face white.

So people are saying that a max Frame would have a white body and coloured legs?????
I personally am not sure frame CAUSES the leg white. I think it could allow it.

Because of the way the white moves on the legs, I don't think any leg white from the knee/hock down was caused by frame.
Interesting but there is more than Frame going on in all those, and I do find that affects things....
That was exactly the point I was trying to make! Except perhaps in the last foal pic. That one might really only be frame....but I don't know for sure and he does have ONE white stocking....but with sabino enocompassing all unknown/unproven/unfound white, it's almost impossible to rule out.
Right RMT.... I'd just like to know more about ACCs theory/what it is that makes her suspect or think that frame alone is responsible for the white legs? I could surely accept it as the only pattern on a max "sabino"/medicine hat/etc. without the sabino if it (sabino) weren't the scapegoat for all the patterns we don't know. The way the white moves I would think Sabino, but if it went further up and hit the frame pattern, how would you know? That's what I want to know.....what about it makes ACC think frame to the feet? It was probably a general statement and I just went overboard. Just wonderin'....
Re: What pattern is this pinto?
Call it a gut feeling? I can't really *explain* it. You know how some people can just SEE the movement and flow of some patterns, well I fell like I can see frame doing this. I can't really believe that ALL frames that we see (with exception of the random one or two in 1,000 or so) just "happen" to have high leg white. And to have a frame foal born from parents without a whole lot going on and the foal be 95% white... I dunno. It just fits for me. Also the whole incomplete dominant and what the homozygous expression appears as.
