What is it?
Rescued, so I don't know much, but - what does that to the blaze? IMAGE(http://i694.photobucket.com/albums/vv309/Hijenks/Oreo.jpg)

Re: What is it?

Frame, sabino and probably splash.

Re: What is it?

I should add that the high and large splotch of white on the forehead is indicative of frame. The curving to avoid the eyes, indicative of sabino. The attempt at being bottom heavy plus something wanting something on the eyes, indicative of splash.

Re: What is it?

Is it frame that makes it so uneven or is it splash? Or....are any of those 3 more centered or even? sabino?

I get all of what you are saying above except the part about wanting something on the eyes - where do you see that? I see everything else....

Re: What is it?

Because, based on the top I'd have thought that blaze would have been wider at the eyes and at least touched the corners... instead, something pushed it away from the eyes.

I don't think it would have been all that uneven had sabino(?) not pushed the white away from the eyes.

Re: What is it?

I always thought my mare had splash because of her lopsided blaze but do you think she could have frame because of the large splotch at the top of the blaze? She is a solid silver bay, besides her blaze. I could never see any bottom lip white but I did notice the other day she has a little white spot on her lower lip but I'm not sure if that is true white spot or perhaps a little fresh scar.

I don't get the same frame vibe from it.

Re: What is it?

Just remember Dilutes that frame can "hide" in a solid (as in virtually NO white :AR! ) so it is one pattern that can never be visually excluded in any animal that is of a frame-carrying breed. Besides, it always pays to test any and all potential breeding stock. :toast

Yes, I was aware of solids with frame but with her breeding, frame shouldn't be an issue. Seeing the first blaze just made me curious though.

Yea frame can be difficult to get your brain around sometimes due to it variety of displaying tendencies...or lack there of, depending on it's "mood"...
