What Do You See?

Color and Pattern. Posting with permission from the owner as she didn't want to sign up, but would like to know what this mare is. I'll be giving her the URL to this thread. totally didn't think DW though...except on the non tacked up photo on her rump...that made me wonder for a minute.

Foxtrotter could be Sb1, but she looks like there is some sort of KIT mutation going on. Do FTs have frame?

TheRedHayflinger Wed, 02/16/2011 - 07:33

I think I've seen frame positive MFTs before. I guessed frame and splash or sabino.

Yes they have frame, but I don't see it in the OP. She looks very much like many Puchilingui lined DWs.

I immediately thought DW - not that exposed as others here, but it was my first thought.

critterkeeper Wed, 02/16/2011 - 19:51

yep, my first thought too. Now that we know what it looks like, I suspect we will be guessing/identifying a lot more of it

NZ Appaloosas Wed, 02/16/2011 - 21:20

My first thought was DW...reminds of that tobi looking standy from Sweden that's DW. Second thought maybe splash and/or splash on top of DW.

I agree that splash could be present, but DW has a knack of mimicking splash very well. Also I do agree frame could be there, but I've seen DWs like this without it.
