What colour is Willow?

We got a pair of kittens a few weeks ago. They are feral kittens and trapped in different areas entirely, they're unrelated but the best of friends.

I think she has some pretty weird markings. I've never seen a cat like her in my life. She has one ginger back leg, ginger marbled throughout her fur, apricot patches on her ear and a white star between her eyes, a bit like a horse, haha.

The people we rescued them for just put her down as a tortie, but I'm not sure that's quite what she is. Any ideas would be welcomed. :D

She is what is called a patched tabby. It is the result of one copy of the Orange gene with Agouti. If she had not carried Agouti she would have been Tortie. Her tabby pattern appears to be a blotched tabby pattern. Hope this helps.

She's a very pretty cat.

That's brilliant, thank you! Can now finally answer people's questions about what colour she is.

Genetics are awesome. :D
