Hi all, I'm a newbie. I tried for ages to get into the old forum, so very happy we have a new one to play in. :D I'm curious as to what you guys think this little girl could be carrying? I assumed that the knee flash was from sabino, but another topic on here made me wonder if it maybe something else? I actually think frame and sabino. The leg white looks as if the two patterns are fighting, one to put white on, the other to take it off. The blaze has a less typical outline and bulges above the muzzle. Sabino contributed the leg white, the chin white, helped with the funny blaze. Frame restricted the leg white and shaped the blaze.

But I suspect it may not be there.
Splash and Sabino, I do not think Tobiano.....

WOW, some mixed responses there. She will be tested for frame, had no intention of testing for tobiano, but perhaps I should?

Someone mentioned that her face marking looked like an indian with a feather :rofl

Sabino definitely, likely splash, test for frame but she could easily be negative. I'm going to say no to tobiano just because I would usually expect it to express more loudly on a red animal with sabino.

Well, the sire definately has Frame, Tobiano, most likely Splash, and possibly Sabion. Dam undoubtably has Sabino. So, anything is possible, but doesn't appear to have Tobiano.

Nice filly - :love Color wise I'd go with sabino, splash and prob. frame - no tobi.

Reguarding the Indian with a feather, my first thought was a lady with a beehive hairdo and one of those Chinese chopsticks they used to wear back in the 40s & 50s.

It is one of those markings that is similar to the inkspot shrinks use isn't it. :D I did also have someone say it looked like a person that was stabbed in the back of the head with a knife still sticking out :shock: but I prefer the indian - or the lady with the chopsticks. :rofl

Personally I hope she carries frame as well. She's such a sweet natured little lass.
