What color is Spookernatural?

This is Spookernatural a 1988 registered Tobiano by Tinky Spook. I was interested in him because my gelding I CD SPOT "Doc" goes back to him. So I was looking on the internet to find pics of him and found his owner and Spookernatural is still alive and still having a few foals every year but none to outside mares. Tinkys Spook, Spookernaturals sire is a foundation Paint horse legend, in fact he is featured in the More that Color Paint horse legend book by Frank Holmes. Tinky Spook was reg. Tobiano but with one blue eye. Spookernatural has 2 blue eyes. I asked his owner if she had ever had him tested for frame but she told me no, that she didn't feel it was neccasary since Spookernatural has had over 100 foals and never had a lethal and that she felt he was just a Tobiano with blue eyes, nothing more . However she did send me these pics and gave me permission to post for learning purposes. So what do all of you think? Do you think the odds are that he just has Splash since he never has had a lethal or do you see frame. Barts Sunglow looks splashy to me - does anyone have progeny lookup capability? I wonder if the mare had splash from her dam's sire line.

Also - we should check to see his other offspring. Spooker may have splash with his odd white nose and lips on one side black.....ya, I'd say that qualifies as off center. He must have a little splash to him!

Yes I am a member so I can look up progeny, so what did you want me to look up exactly, the dam of Barts Sunglow?

Ghost and Move definitely splash, but Ghost looks possibly frame (they both do a little). Sppokernatural himself for sure splash and tobi.

Yeah thats what I told her that he was probably Splash/Tobi since he never has produced and lethal in over 100 foals, but what is it about Spookernatural that tells you Splash and not frame for my learning purposes, because I have a hard time telling the difference in the ones that are not obviously Splash like half white on the bottom and dark on the top.

He IS half white on the bottom and dark on the top... on his head. :rofl That INSANELY bottom heavy face white would only be splash. Frame is top heavy. Sabino doesn't care (aka it's usually even).

Totally awesome, I get it :HB Thankyou!

I just sent in my test on Annie for frame on Saturday BTW, so I'll let you know when I get that back, should be before the end of the week.
