what color? please help.......

Hi, I have a three year old quarter horse filly and I can't figure out what color she is :-? she was born black, when I got her she was like a light brown shedding of to black and in the winter she was brown but she has grey around her eyes and muzzle so I though maybe she would turn grey but so far she is not, or grulla but she has no dorsal stripe, her dam is grey and sire is grullo so I figure there is a chance she would go either way, the first pics are from now, also to show the highlights in her mane, and the last one is from last summer, any advice or ideas would be appriciated  Thanks

She's probably black. She's a very similar color to the mare in the thread below and her being born black is a very good indicator. I don't see gray but to be honest the first 4 pics are not the best for judging color as they are kind of grainy. The last pic is better but it looks like it was taken last year. Has she changed much since then?

Definitely black based, and I'd vote for fading black. If she has grey around her muzzle and eyes (and from the 1st pix it looks like on her face) I would say she may actually go grey - some greys don't change until later. Have seen one that didn't start to change until after they were 4 yrs old and never did go "white" before passing at 25 yrs old.
So I'd guess fading black going grey (all just a guess based on phenotype...only DNA knows for sure).
