What color is my horse ? (photo of his foal p. 3)

Hi ! My name's Nathalie and I come from Europe (Switzerland). My horse is PALOMINO but something strange is happening. When he was younger, he had very light mane and tail with fast no black hair in it. Now the things are changing and his tail become more and more dark. You can see the change on this pictures : 2 years old : [img]http://lh6.ggpht.com/_19R7tvELsK0/SJtSzRxlM-I/AAAAAAAAB4U/dp_q_zI1IV0/s…] 4 years old : [img]http://lh4.ggpht.com/_19R7tvELsK0/SJtLXUdHhKI/AAAAAAAABfE/LSR5rHiPrto/I…] Now, 6 years old : [img]http://lh4.ggpht.com/_19R7tvELsK0/S5u_ggE-QBI/AAAAAAAAHpw/nMhukilqQq4/s…] His mane has become more "orange/brown/grey" than the flashy white it was. And look at his tail... It become partially black ! What's happening ? Can he have the "silver" or "sootty" gene ? His mother is Buckskin and father chestnut. As he's a breeding stud, i'd like to know if I've chance to have more color dilution :hammer (I'm waiting his 2 first foal in about 1 month !) Thank you !

In minimal form it looks a bit like splash. Legs first, then face, then throat and armpits, then flank, then stripe up the middle of the belly, and so on.

The minimal forms are nearly always 4 fairly even stockings with movement that looks ALOT like splash and a nice width blaze that nearly always encompasses the lower lip and sometimes even jaw. The blazes are very straight and that's the main clue they're not splash.
