Champagne is a different gene that dilutes the coat color similar to the cream gene though it effects both red and black pigment. It also causes pink with brown speckled skin and amber eyes. A silver buckskin is a buckskin that also carries the silver allele so the black points (legs, mane and tail) are diluted to silver/flaxen/gray.
