:laugh1 yea, last time I get that for her party lol...well the stupid mud here is soooo slippery due to rain and I can only assume she was actin a fool and slid into the fence, its pretty nasty , thankfully the 2 tendons or ligiments I forget whats over the front of the leg there are in tact, they were quite pretty too ( not) ...didnt really ever want to see those exposed to the world :roll: ..had to walk the flap of skin up her leg and attach most of it but left the top unstitched as it was right into the hock area, put some stitches on the inside of the flap and tons on the sides, 2 gashes in the hock area too, jsut about 1-2 in cuts, but the biggie is lower, probly about 10 " long up one side and down the other, I will get pics for progression tommorw when I redo the dressing..im sure there will be a scar, but all the critical areas are intact.

ok so i didnt get before pics and its not the cleanest in the pics , but this is befroe I washed it today and goup'd it back up, its been since apr 2 she did it and now I just turned her back out (was on stall rest) I still have some of the high tinsel wire up, but I have 80% of it cut down now and I will just have my electrobraide rope (the white rope in pic) once Im done, that high tinsel is not nice stuff, I and not thrilled with electrobraide rope but it is gonna have to do for now till I become super rich and can fence with 4 board and no climb like I preferr 8-)
I stopped wraping it about a week ago and let it dry up, but i still wash it every other day and put nolvasan on it, it was a nasty flap that had to sew'd and walked up the leg and left open at the top and a few gashes that were in the hock are too you can see the scar, she is sound on it thankfully. The ligiment or tendons what ever the white things were , they were exposed but not damaged, it was gross ..if you can imagine this looks ALOT better.

you can see some of the evil wire is still up but not in an area they hang out in, i still have one more section to cut up and throw out, i have to use bolt cutters to cut this wire.
