Unusual color on old painting - Guesses welcome

Hi there, I found an old painting by Pieter Bruegel (16th century) that shows a horse with an interesting coat color. Has someone an idea what kind of colour this horse might have been or has someone seen (and maybe link back) real life horses expressing a similar pattern? Link to the painting below. It is the horse that stands in front on the left side. Light mane and tail, tobiano (?) pattern on a blueish gray base with a yellow, beige, pink (?) belly ? http://www.pieter-bruegel-the-elder.org/The-Conversion-of-Saul-1567-lar… Thank you for your help.

I'm going to guess silver brown with a white pattern possibly Tobiano. Silver because the mane is also white without visible white pattern on the neck and the upper body color. Brown because of the lighter areas of reddish pigment that wouldn't be affected by silver.

Thank you for your quick reply. I think that is the most probable color, but haven't thought of silver because I did not know it was able to bring such a blue tone to the darker areas of the coat. Found some nice examples now. Thank you again :D
